“Grand place, lofty rooms, comfortable, easy going and friendly. Lacking hot water for my morning shower but do you know what ? – I was content to have such a place to lay my head. Awoke to see sheep and cows grazing, drifting swirls of hill mist – what more could one ask ? Roadside location a definite, convenient advantage. Well priced + lovely breakfast coffee.”

“Perfect location en route to the south (Motril, Malaga, Nerja etc). Great value (63 euros), dog friendly (extra 7 euros) good continental breakfast, coffee, tea etc. Excellent tapas/ raciones available. Friendly staff. A hotel in the grand style spoiled by only one thing. Noises (bangs etc) in the night in room 109. I mentioned them to a member of staff the following morning but could not understand his explanation although it seemed he was aware of the issue. I thought they might be birds on the roof but apparently not. I can only assume the noises were made by air-con unit or plumbing or something similar but they were loud and quite regular. Pity as otherwise we enjoyed our one night stay.”
